PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. !!!SAFETY!!! OBJECTS (CANDY, CELEBRATION
FAVORS, COINS, WATER, ETC.) THROWN FROM
VEHICLE SHALL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE
GUSTINE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS NOT
LIABLE FOR INJURIES OR DAMAGES CAUSED TO
PARTICIPANTS, SPECTATORS, OR PARADE OFFICIALS
BY OBJECTS BEING THROWN IN ANY WAY. PARADE
OFFICIALS HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ENTRANT THAT
OBJECTS BE PUT AWAY, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL
BE GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION, REMOVAL
AND/OR CITATION BY GUSTINE CITY POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND/OR PARADE OFFICIALS!
2. ENTRIES close on June 30. Any late entries will not be judged.
3. ALL parade marshals and officials must be obeyed.
4. EACH entry is responsible for their own signs.
5. REGISTRATION on parade day starts at 9 a.m.
Registration will be located at the corner of 5th Street and 1st Avenue.
6. PARADE ASSEMBLY time is 10 a.m. All units must be in position at that time.
7. PARADE will start at 10:30 a.m. SHARP!
8. PARADE ROUTE must be completed by all units. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
9. FIFTY (50) feet spacing is required between units.
10. All MOTORIZED LICENSED VEHICLES MUST BE
DRIVEN BY LICENSED DRIVERS OF AT LEAST 18
YEARS OF AGE AND EXTREME CAUTION MUST BE
EXERCISED WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION ON SPEED
AND SPECTATORS. ENTRIES OR PARTICIPANTS MUST
AT ALL TIMES MAINTAIN CONTROL.
11. PARADE will be a forward motion parade.
12. JUDGING will be located on the right side of line of march. Identification numbers must be worn or placed on the right side of entry.
13. DECISIONS of the judges will be final.
14. PARADE AWARDS will be mailed.
15. Gustine Chamber of Commerce: 4th of July Parade Sponsor reserves the right to finalize the placement of all categories.

In entering the event, I agree to accept the decision of the duly appointed judges and to abide by all the rules, regulations and decisions herein and of the Parade Sponsor which reserves the right to refuse any entry. I further agree to release Gustine Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade Sponsor and its associates from any and all responsibility for loss, damage or injury to any person or property from my participation in this event.
